Peut-on y jouer à 3?

Can we play if we are 3 players?

A tester...

In english :

To my souvenirs, this one has not really been playtested with 3 players...

What I suggest to do avoiding big modifications :
One NORAD player controls Nick Bolter with 8 CP
A second NORAD player controls Vasquez and James Woo with 14 CP

To be tested...
The Salemite player remains with the same forces and still gets 20 CP

I tested it the other night with three players.

We had one player controlling the Salemites and two running Norad. The Norad team had one player playing Vasquez and the other had James Woo and COL. NICK BOLTER. (Sorry about the emphasis on Nick Bolter, but we have a tendency to announce COLONELLLL "NICK" BOLTERRRRR very dramatically when it's his turn to activate.)

The Vasquez player was an utter noob. She seemed to like the game, although I don't think it's exactly her style. (She prefers medieval fantasy to Sci-Fi.) But she's a gamer and she caught on to the rules pretty fast, and she did say that she would like to play again.

It worked pretty well, it was very tense and fun, but we weren't sure how to handle CP:

1) In general "multiplayer" games, can both sides pool their CP just like a two player game?
2) In this scenario, does each side still lose the appropriate CP when characters die? We didn't play it that way, but I think we should have.

Yes, check out the rules for Duels with 3-4 players page 40 of the rulebook.

Of course you are loosing the Bonus CP granted by each character during the Initiative, but the base CP allowance doesn't change throughout the scenario.
