Where to find an English copy of the game in Europe?

Where to find an English copy of the game in Europe?

Postby admin » Wed Dec 15, 2010 3:22 pm

We've received questions from many players in various countries in Europe on where they can order Earth Reborn in English.

If you're in the UK, it may be convenient to order it from UK online shops or buy it in UK stores. The game is distributed there by Esdevium, the UK subsidiary of Asmodee.

Some UK shops we know about, feel free to complete the list:

http://www.celestial-gb.com
http://www.gameslore.com/

Here is a list of webshops in Germany that currently carry the game and that should be able to ship to any country in Europe, and possibly beyond:

http://www.spiele-offensive.de
http://www.milan-spiele.de
http://www.cosimshop.de
http://www.beutelsend.de
http://www.spielgilde.de
http://www.12spiel.de

And there should be webshops in Belgium, the Netherlands and other countries that carry the game. You can also go to your local store and ask them to order it for you if they don't have it in stock.

You can now also buy the game here: http://earthreborn.ludically.com/shop

The list above is not meant to be exhaustive and does not represent any kind of endorsement or preferential treatment by Ludically. In fact, if a shop feels slighted for not being mentioned in the list, please don't hesitate to add yourself to the list by replying to this post, and I can also edit the original post to add you to the list.

We don't normally publish a list of specific webshops, but in this instance, since Earth Reborn is only published in French and English, players in non-French- or English-speaking countries may have a more difficult time locating a store that will carry an English version. This is meant as a service to those players.

Asmodee tells me it should hit the UK early next week. You also can check for availability on the German shops above, they'll get it a bit sooner.

I checked all the websites and two of them claim to sell the german version. As far as i know there is no german version. I already emailed one of those shops telling there is no such thing as a german version. Am I right or did i missed the news where you told us about a german version being released.

Another question:
Can i contact asmodee benelux to ask them which dutch shops ordered copies of earth reborn?

Celestial Games have a few copies. You can get it from their Ebay shop, their own website or order direct over the phone. If you opt for the phone method they can usually do a cheaper deal (or so they tell me) as there are less overheads. Already ordered mine and spoke to Alex (?) on the phone to confirm it. :D Of course don't be expecting to get it delivered before xmas, although he assured me I would have between xmas and new year... well depending on what the weather does.

You're correct. There is no German version. Unfortunately, the German Asmodee catalog had a typo in it. They forgot to include the information that the game was in English for the German market. I'm sure Asmodee Germany is correcting the information as they proceed with orders and shipments.

Please do, and feel free to publish the information on this thread.

I got this very vague answer from asmodee Benelux:

Dear,

Earth of Alara Reborn in English is not yet available.
The game should be obtainable in the next few days.

Regards,

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??? je ne comprende pas.
WHY DO THEY CALL IT EARTH OF ALARA REBORN?
I asked which dutch shops ordered copies. They didnt answer that question.

Original dutch answer i got:

Beste,

Earth of Alara Reborn in het engels is nog niet beschikbaar.
Het spel zou in de loop van deze dagen verkrijgbaar zijn.

Met vriendelijke groeten

Seems like winter had mercy with Germany. My shop sent it out today... Hope it gets here on X-mas. If not I will have to go insane over thinking about storage solutions and szenarios ;)

Well just purchased my copy from Gameslore at £55 inc P&P via E-bay so hopefully it will make it by Friday. There is one left if you are in the UK so get in quick as £55 is a good price.
